Inmate Found Dead at Wapello County Jail

John Joseph Connell 18 years of age an inmate at the Wapello County Jail was found dead in his cell area during the early morning hours of  Monday October 22nd, from an apparent hanging.  Jail personnel found Connell unresponsive during rounds.  Connell of Sioux City Iowa was incarcerated for 3 Counts of Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree and Processing Contraband inside a Correctional Facility.
