So when the days are nice enough to get in the field, they are long and extremely busy days. Equipment contacting power lines is cited as the most common accident resulting in farm electrocutions. &#160; Be aware of increased height when loading and transporting tractors on trailer beds. Avoid raising the arms of planters or cultivators near power lines, and never attempt to [...]<div class='yarpp-related-rss'>

Currently, the Oskaloosa RAGBRAI Housing Committee is looking for people in Oskaloosa, Beacon, or University Park to host RAGBRAI riders who request private housing/camping on Thursday, July 25th. This is a great way to meet people from all over the country/world for a great experience. You can offer beds, showers, camping spots, or RV spots. Whatever suits you!  Here is some important information that anyone contacted for housing needs to know: RAGBRAI is currently taking applications for the 10,000 riders that will be registered for the ride.  It will not be known until May 1 who will be on the ride as a registered rider. A registered Ragbrai rider will sign a Ragbrai Waiver and Release of Liability.  Individuals who want to house riders need to check to see if the rider requesting housing is a legitimate registered rider.  Registered riders will receive tag numbers after May [...]<div class='yarpp-related-rss'>
