OTTUMWA – The Ottumwa Municipal Band, under the direction of Brenda Hagedon, will perform a “Christmas in July” concert Thursday, July 22nd, at 7:00 in Central Park.  Traditional and popular secular Christmas music will be played.  Featured performer Becky Diebold will present “A Christmas Sing-A-Long” – a collection of traditional Christmas carols.

The complete concert includes: “The Star Spangled Banner,” “Sleighride,” “Christmas Sing-A-Long,” “Do you Hear What I Hear,” “Great Songs of Christmas,” “Mozart at the North Pole,” “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” “White Christmas,” Christmas Favorites,” “Sleighride in July,” “Skater’s Holiday,” “America, the Beautiful.”

The audience is reminded to bring your lawn chairs or a blanket for viewing the concert.  In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Quincy Place Mall.
