Sales Account Executive

KYOU-TV and mylocalFOX15.com seeks a Sales Account Executive. Do you have a winning attitude, solutions-based ideas, and a tenacious work ethic? Essential Functions:

• Develop new client base as well as sell and service existing accounts.
• Build strong relationships with clients and advertising agencies.
• Use knowledge of programming and qualitative research data to create marketing presentations that sell value to our clients and positions our station again competition.
• Use consultative sales approach to build relationships and grow business for our clients and our station.
• Write presentations, edit existing presentations, and understand research specific to the broadcast television industry.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or business degree or comparable work experience preferred.

Work Experience:
1-3 years of media or outside sales experience preferred. Must possess excellent communication skills. Must be comfortable dealing with all levels of staff including corporate, local and station personnel. Must have polished presentation skills. Must be able to present research information and station proposals in a clear and enthusiastic manner. Must have ability to work well under pressure in a revenue goal and deadline-driven environment.

Basic Skills:
Applicants must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook. Familiarity with Wide Orbit traffic system a plus! Must be able to drive and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
