In July of 2012, officers from the Southeast Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task Force and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office initiated a heroin distribution case in Jefferson County and Fairfield, IA. As a result of the investigation, the following people have been arrested:
Isaac Reynolds Knight, age 32, of 808 W. Washington, Fairfield, was arrested on November 14th, 2012. Knight is charged with Conspiracy to deliver less than 100 Grams of Heroin, a Class “C” Felony and Ongoing Criminal Conduct, a Class “B” Felony. Knight is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Kyle Ehret Connely, age 27, of 1547 Olive Ave., Fairfield, was arrested on November 6th, 2012. Connelly is charged with Conspiracy to deliver less than 100 Grams of Heroin, a Class “C” Felony. Connelly has posted bond and is free on bail.
Shane Kevin McBride, age 24, of 209 Glasgow Road, Fairfield, was arrested on November 19th, 2012. McBride is charged with Conspiracy to deliver less than 100 Grams of Heroin, a Class “C” Felony. McBride is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Agencies that assisted in the investigation include the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, Jefferson County Attorney’s Office, Eighth Judicial District Department of Correctional Services, the Fairfield Police Department, and the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement.
